Strategic Dreams has very high standards for our writers. For this reason, we analyze each and every submission carefully and thoroughly, according to our publishing standards:
– Substantive and original content
If you take a look around here, you’ll notice the articles published on this site are usually very long, are well written, original, neatly organized, and proof-read.
We don’t accept garbage content (poorly written, copied/re-written, spinned content, unstructured, and badly organized articles).
We don’t accept articles that have been “mass produced” and had parts of it switched or changed so they could be publish as original posts somewhere else (content spin).
– Only content about this website’s topic will be accepted
This website is dedicated to teach personal management (self-help in general, but focused on productivity, time management, goal setting, personal planning, overcoming personal obstacles, etc.). Content about other topics, if well written, may be considered for other websites our team manages, but can’t be published here. Topics such as business, health, new-age, politics, religion, entertainment cannot be published here on Strategic Dreams, but may fit within the guidelines of our other websites. If you produce good content about those subjects, contact us.
– Do it to build your reputation, not for SEO!
An article written for SEO purposes “smells” spammy. There’s a lot of legitimate reasons to write guest posts: exposure, branding, increased reach, community, etc. If all you want is a link though, you won’t get it here.
– Proof-read before submitting!
We don’t accept content with grammar, punctuation or spelling errors. If English is not your native language, have a professional editor take a look at it, or at least ask a friend who speaks English as a first language to help you out.
– Authors must have a good quality website
It hurts our reputation when our readers follow links to know more about guest authors and what they find is low quality, spammy websites. We strive to give our readers the best possible experience, and that includes only publishing content from authors perceived around the web as being reputable and high quality. Focus on building your own reputation online, not on doing SEO for your site!
– No history of spammy content around the web
We will conduct a throughout research on the author to verify his/her reputation around the web. It’s ok not to have a vast track record, but it’s not ok to have a history of bad content posted on other websites, articles banks (such as Ezine Articles), social media, etc. (poorly written, superficial content, too many affiliate links).
– No affiliate/lead-generation links
Guest authors are allowed to advertise their own website/blog (just 1 per article in the author box, and it must be the home page, no landing page allowed). Links in the body of the articles are not permitted. The link in the author box cannot be an affiliate link and must lead to the author’s own website. It’s ok to add links to your G+, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter profiles (will be placed in the author box automatically with every article).
– No freelancers or staff-writers
This is not an article bank! It’s not possible to use our site to publish hundreds of articles, so don’t bother submitting articles that were written by hired staff.
– Write about something specific. Do not submit articles like “How To Be Happy”
Generic, superficial content will not be accepted. You must have a good argument, an interesting title, and submit an article that adds something valuable to this site.
– Your article must be the final draft
Don’t submit unfinished, unproofed drafts. We will not proof or edit your work. Everything you submit must be ready to be published.
– Exclusivity
Beware that what you publish here cannot be resposted anywhere else (online). You can still use your own content offline if you wish (but not on printed media, like submitting to magazines). You cannot repost the same article (or anything similar enough) on your own website. If your article is found to be breaching this rule, it will be removed from this site. When you guest publish on reputable websites, it’s like publishing a book. The copyright belong to the site, not to you. You cannot repost that content, or do anything with it, other than claim authorship.
– Ensure that your content does not violate any copyright laws.
Do your homework!
– Remember and accept that we have final editorial call!
We have no obligation to automatically accept anything that is submitted to us (and we’re very picky!). Follow the guidelines, make sure your content is original, smart, error free and throughly proofed. Also make sure you have a reputable and high quality website to link to from the article. If you dont’t have a website yet, that’s fine, but we won’t publish offline contact information like phone number and business addresses.
If you want to be a guest author, contact us. Don’t send content yet. Tell us about yourself, what you do, what are you doing online, give us the link to your website, and tell us a little about the content you can produce for us. Remember: whatever you write for us, cannot be reused in any way! It cannot be republished on other websites, not even yours. If you can’t live with that, don’t bother.
